April 28, 2011- 99designs, the leading crowdsourcing site for small businesses, announced that it had secured an investment worth $35 million. Accel Partners, a global venture capital firm, led the first-round investment, which also had participation from investors like Michael Dearing of Harrison Metal and eBay, Anthony Casalena of Squarespace, Stewart Butterfield of Tiny Speck and Flickr and Dave Goldberg of Survey Monkey.
