Freelancer today announced that it had acquired the UK freelancing website Freelancer.co.uk

Freelancer.co.uk connects small businesses in the UK to freelancers across a range of industries including software, web design, marketing and engineering.

oDesk today announced it has secured $15 million in Series C financing. DAG Ventures led the round. Existing investors Benchmark Capital, Globespan Capital Partners and Sigma Partners also participated.

oDesk announced an $8 million Series B investment led by Benchmark Capital.

oDesk, an Internet startup that lets companies hire and manage remote workers from its global talent pool and pay them on an hourly basis, announced a $6 million Series A investment from Globespan Capital Partners and Sigma Partners.
