Writerlance is designed to bring together freelance writers and content buyers. When we reviewed it there were only a handful of projects featured on the home page, many of which were quite old. They included SEO copywriting, blog writing and ghostwriting jobs. WriterLance has no upfront charges--project posting fees or registration fees. A 3% commission or $3.00 (whichever is greater) is paid by the buyer for each project.
For Freelancers
The paucity of writing jobs on WriterLance make us reluctant to recommend it. However, the lack of upfront fees and one of the industry's lowest commissions make it worth checking out. Freelance writer should consider signing up and getting alerts about new relevant jobs.
For Buyers
For the same reasons, we suggest that buyers try posting a writing project on WriterLance. But given the relatively small pool of talent, it may take longer than you'd like to get any bids. You could use it as an secondary platform to post a project, but shouldn't rely on WriterLance.
Our Verdict
Despite the competitive fee structure, WriterLance services are limited by the narrow talent pool and lack of projects. Consider using it as a backup solution. But you will probably get better results from one of the more established general freelance marketplaces.

do one thing, go to their site and try to register as a provider, when you enter your email id it says an email has been sent. but no email ever arrives in your inbox or even the spam box. so then you can imagine how the rest of the site must be like if the registration, the first step, is like this.
